Every year, the local tulip fields and gardens bloom, audience to thousands of visitors. I usually take two to three visits to capture the blooms. This year, due to rain and life, I had only one visit to an amazing, formally planted, tulip garden. Here are some of my more favorite shots. Which one is your favorite?
If the banner that I display at the top of this page is a tulip garden photo, I took it at this same place last year, April 2012.
They’re all gorgeous! I keep coming back to the first one though, something about looking up with the sky in the background. It makes me feel like I’m stretched out in the grass on a sunny day, looking up at the clouds through a field of a thousand flowers. Beautiful.
Have a lovely weekend! Christy
Thanks Christy. I love that shot, too. It was fun to take- holding my camera near the ground and pointing it up to the sky. Took several shots and that one came out great.
I’m drafting a “May flowers” themed weekend post of quotes and poetry for either this weekend or next. May I use your photos from this post with a link back to you here? They’re so beautiful–I’d love to share! Thanks much, Christy
You sure may! I’m honored. Thanks.
Yay! Thank you!
All of them 🙂
Thanks!
