Rain

Rain gently floats down in sheets of mist
Obscuring the distant view.

Rain drops plop from the sky
Splattering in puddles, watering all it lands on.

Huge droplets of water pour down
Drenching all who dare to venture out.

Water and frozen balls fall together
The balls bouncing and then melting.

Drip, drop, splish, splash
The water cycle begins again.

About mariner2mother

I'm a mother of a creative 20 year old son, a former merchant ship's deck officer, and a wife. To feed my creative side I take photos. I am also Reiki attuned and am a student of Energy Healing, having used several healing modalities to work on myself and my family. My most recent adventure has me navigating a very challenging Kundalini Awakening.

    I LOVED this!
Not only do I love rain, I admire anyone who has mastered poetry… so this was a home run in my books!

  2. Jami Carder says:

Funny to read this as the exact thing is happening outside…
